Spring DIYs

Today, the sun was shining in New York and I immediately wanted to buy new clothes for Spring. Tomorrow I have my internship and after that I will go to some stores and I hope to find some DIY materials for new Spring DIYs. I have something in mind with loafers, because I feel I need a new pair.

DIY Notebook

I always have a lot of DIY ideas and I write them down everywhere, on my phone, in a notebook, on my laptop, on random papers etc. 

Yesterday I thought about it and I thought I had to start organizing my ideas, so that I know what I mean by my ideas and I can diy it!

So I bought this cute notebook with a faux leather sleeve, which I love and it brought me to new ideas (I will keep you posted) and I started writing down all my ideas. Each page a new idea. So now it is really organized and I like it!

DIY VLuxury: Stella McCartney Bag

Yesterday I finished making my look-a-like Stella McCartney bag. Here you can learn how to do it.

What you will need:

-3 yard chain

-1 yard faux leather/leather (1 yard is a bit to much, but I  will use it for my next DIY project)

-White pencil

-Scissors

-Pins

-Measuring tape

-Leather needle (for hand sewing) 

-Strong threat

Price: 30 dollars

Time: 3 hours

Things you need (I used the magazine to make straight lines)

Fold the fabric, draw with your pencil the measurements and cut the fabric. 

Cut the corners.

Place the chain and sew the chain to the fabric (by hand). When you are finished you have to attach the beginning and the end of the chain to each other. 

Cut this fabric to make the sides of the bag. 

Cut the corners round and sew this as well to the chain.

In the end it will look like this!

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Ralph Lauren Iphone Case

When my family came to visit me in New York, my sister bought this pretty orange Iphone case of Ralph Lauren. I am so jealous, but I can not buy the case, because it was only for Iphone 4 and I still have an Iphone 3. And a few weeks ago my screen broke and the phone is so old that I am not going to let to repair the screen. So I am thinking about buying the Iphone 5 and making a similar Iphone case. Love it!
