Today, it is my birthday!! One of my present is getting some new fabrics with my uncle in Amsterdam. I am loving these bags, so hope to find some good fabrics to make them myself!

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Embellished Iphone case

I have an obsession with Iphone cases, especially because of my new iphone. I saw these cases and fell in love. Yesterday I ordered a basic black case and I will do a DIY like this.

This is the case I have now and everyone is asking me if I made it myself, unfortunately not. But it could be, you only need a transparent case and rhinestones.

DIY VLuxury: Shoulder pads

For today's post an easy DIY: shoulder pads. 

You need:

- Shoulder pads

- 2 safety pins

- Clothes

Attach the safety pin on the shoulder pad

 

Attach the shoulder pad with the safety pin on your garment. 

For this DIY I used this blazer, but you can also attach the shoulder pads on a blouse, shirt, cardigan etc. 

It is super easy and it changes the whole look of a garment. 

DIY OOTD: Lace top

Today's outfit with my DIY Lace top and rhinestone necklace. 

If you don't have a necklace like this, you can also DIY your lace top and glue rhinestones on the neckline of the top.

DIY VLuxury: Stella McCartney inspired bag-in-bag/clutch

For today's DIY I made a bag-in-bag for in my look-a-like Stella McCartney bag. This bag can also be used as a clutch. It is an easy project and doesn't take long to make.

What you will need:
- Faux leather/leather ( I used the same fabric as for the bag)
- White pencil
- Scissors
- Pins
- Measuring tape
- Zipper
- Fabric glue

Time: 30 minutes

Take your fabric and cut it like you see on the picture. 

Turn the fabric inside out.

Take the zipper and pin it on the fabric. 

It is best to glue the zipper on the fabric, in this way you don't see a stitching line.

Now you are already finished! Love the result and hope you have fun with it. I am going to use the bag as a clutch tomorrow evening, because I am going to drink cocktails with my friends.

Back Home

After 9 months I left New York yesterday, this means I am back home now. On the one hand it is sad and I already miss it! But on the other hand I can really start DIYing now, I have some great ideas, so I will keep you posted!

I saw this great dress of Phillip Lim of the resort 2014 collection and fell in love! It is gorgeous!! I think it is pretty easy to make it yourself as well, so that is what I am going to try, because I can't effort to buy the one from Phillip Lim. You can also do the detailing on a top, which is a bit more wearable.
