Before & After: Embellished necklace

I was not planning on making a necklace, but it worked out this way. As you see on the first picture I was doing a DIY project with an iphone case, but when I was cutting the shirt I thought of a do-it-yourself embellished necklace.

Love the necklace! I know for sure I am going to wear this necklace a lot, it is the perfect statement piece.

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Feather skirt and clutch

Since I made my feather blazer, I got obsessed with feathers. This is why I recently bought a feather skirt, I bought it in a second-handed store, so this is why it was cheap, but I could also easily make it myself. You can make it the same way as I did with the do-it-yourself feather blazer

Also this feather clutch from Asos is super cute!

DIY VLuxury: Beads torque bracelet

I love accessorizes and I think you can't have enough of them, this is why I made this DIY. I made it with beads, but you can of course make them with a lot of different things, for example studs/spikes.

You need:
- Beads (I used an old necklace)
- Iron wire
- Glue
- Pliers

Measure your wrist and cut the iron wire with a pair of pliers.

Take beads you like to put at the ends of the bracelet.

First glue the bead to the end of the iron wire. This is not enough to really attach the bead, so you have to take a little pin and put it through the bead and attach it by turning it around the iron wire.

Finished! Really cute for in summer and you can make these bracelets with a lot of variety. Also a perfect self-made birthday present.

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Transparent clutch

Today I was doing some online shopping and saw this gorgeous transparent clutch on modemusthaves, it is €29,95, which is pretty much if you can also easily make it yourself. So here some new inspiration for a DIY project.

Are you also going to DIY this clutch?

DIY VLuxury: Backless bra

We all have the same problem, you are trying on this beautiful dress/top, you look in the mirror and it appears to be backless and your bra is showing. For me it is a no go to wear something without a bra, it just does not feel right. This is why I did a little DIY project to create a backless bra.

You need:
- An old bra
- Another bra
- Elastic band
- Scissors
- Sewing machine / needle and thread

Take your old bra en cut the parts at the end.

First measure how long your elastic band has to be, after cut it.

Connect the elastic band and the end part of the bra with the sewing machine or needle and thread.

The backless bra has to be worn like this than it will be invisible if you are wearing something backless.

It is easy to make, but a must-need in a summer proof closet.

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Sheer maxi skirt

I am in love with maxi skirts, but it is hard to find a perfect one for me, because I am pretty tall. This is why I was looking for some inspiration to make the perfect one myself. I fell in love with the sheer maxi skirt.

This high-low one is also really cute!

DIY VLuxury: Feather blazer (no sewing)

As I posted on Tuesday, I got inspired by the feather blazer of Olivia Palermo. Here is a DIY how the make one yourself. It is really easy, so lets get started!

You need:
- A blazer
- Feather fringe (I used 6 feather fringes of 50 cm (=19,7 inch) each)
- Fabric glue

Before:

I first pinned the feather fringes on the blazer to see what it looked like and to make sure that the whole bottom part of the blazer was filled.

The next thing is taking your glue to connect the feathers to the blazer. You have to start with the lowest row and work your way up.

Then you are already finished! Like I said really easy, but it looks so fashionable and cute.
