DIY VLuxury: Open side top / shirt

A few months ago I posted some inspiration on the open side top / shirt and today I finally got the time to make it. It is a very simple DIY and it looks absolutely great.

What you will need:
- A basic tee (mine is from H&M, €7,95)
- Scissors
- Pins
- Measuring tape
- Paper

It only takes about 10 minutes. 

First measure till where you want to have the cut out part. I measured exactly under my bra (so I can still wear one and you can't see it), 25 cm.

I made this pattern so both sides of the shirt would be the same. So the height is 25 cm and the width is 14 cm, 7 cm on each side of the seam.

Pin the pattern on the shirt and make sure the middle of it is on the seam, so it will be even. 

You are done!! I will post the pictures of me wearing this shirt later. But the result is what I hoped for, it looks the exact same as on the picture where I got the inspiration from. Love it!

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Open back t-shirt / top

An open back, that is what I am loving at the moment. I just bought this grey tee from H&M with a low back and I am wearing it all the time. It is perfect for everyday, you can either wear it to school, to a party, a dinner. Sooo when I saw this picture I instantly had a great new idea for a do it yourself project! I am going to buy a basic black tee soon and I am hoping it will be my next favorite shirt.

Of course, the first thing you look at in this picture are the Chanel bags (I want one so bad!! Just saying). But the thing I can afford are the antler hooks and they will perfectly fit in my room. First I need to find something like it, but I have something in mind! Keep you updated.

After some hard work, I was looking for inspiration for a new do it yourself project. Found this amazing shirt with an open side and it is super easy to make. I first have to find the right shirt and after I am going to make this DIY project for sure. I can already visualize the perfect outfit with it!

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Pallet book/magazine shelf

With my study Fashion & Management I am working on a project, inspiration book. I have to buy a lot of independent magazines, which are expensive, but so gorgeous. This is why I want something to show these magazines in my room. I am also loving the use of pallets in a room, so the perfect combination when I found this picture. The only problem is that I do not have enough space in my room left, so I need to think of a solution! Maybe I am going to hang it on the wall.

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Leather top

Sorry I have not been posting for a long time, it has been so busy with my study, but I passed my first assignment and I hope I can work on my blog more now.
Today I was doing some online shopping (I thought I deserved that after some hard work haha) and I found this leather top at Dailylook. The only thing is the price and I do not like the back of the top which is made of jersey. I really want to make this top myself, because I think it is perfect for a day at college, but also for a night out!

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Top with leather pockets

Today I was doing some online shopping, because in the Netherlands you can already call it fall! What I love the most about this season are the new collections in stores. At Zara I saw this top, although I really like it, I think it is too expensive for something like it. So I was thinking about a new do it yourself project. You only need to buy a basic top and leather fabric for this DIY. Easy, cheap and fashionable!

DIY VLuxury: Photo frame wall

A few weeks ago I moved to Amsterdam and my room is still not finished. Today I finished my photo frame wall and it is so cute! 
When I was hanging my photo frames on my wall there was a little problem. I did not have small hooks for the photo frames, so I could not hang them on the wall. I solved this problem by using velcro. It is super easy and there are no holes in the wall. 

I first painted all my photo frames silver and printed the fashion pictures I wanted to use. After I used the velcro on the photo frames and hung them on the wall. Easy and fast to do and really adorable!

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Black cut out front top

Have you ever seen a top like this before? I did not! After I saw this picture I had to get this top, but I still did not find it in stores. It is just perfect with the cut out part in the front. I hope I can do a do it yourself project and make a similar one, because it is absolutely stunning!!

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Back necklace

A few weeks ago I had a fashion show and the one thing I was amazed about was the back necklace. The designer made an evening gown with an open back and the model was wearing a necklace with it on her back. I have been loving it since. I think it is gorgeous, so I went looking for some inspiration. This is not a real do it yourself project, because you just have to wear your necklace the other way around, but still wanted to share my inspiration with you. Tomorrow I will wear a black maxi skirt, with an open back top and a necklace on my back. Love it!!
