DIY Luxury Inspiration: Orange lace bodycon dress/top

I think this picture is absolutely amazing! The thing I fell for was the orange lace bodycon dress, of course I don't have something like this in my wardrobe and it is impossible to find a dress like this in the shops. This is when I thought of a new do it yourself project, the only thing you need is a lace dress and orange fabric paint. As easy as that! I think it will be also super cute to do this DIY with a lace top.

Before & After: Grey top

I got this top at my internship a few months ago, but never worn it since. This is why I needed to change it. I thought the yellow lace was a little to childish, so I decided to cut it and now it is just a basic grey top, but with this leather skirt from Zara it is a match made in heaven.

DIY Luxury Inspiration: Neon | Colorful rhinestone iphone case

I think I have a little confession to make: I have an obsession for Iphone cases! So that is why I have some new inspiration for a do it yourself project. Did you fall in love with these the same way I did? I guess so...
What I love about these Iphone cases is the neon rhinestones, but also the transparent case. The transparent trend is huge and not only the transparent bags are super pretty, but also these cases.

DIY VLuxury: Blue clutch bag

I finally got time to make the bag from the fabric I got for my birthday, remember my post with bags I am loving? I fell in love as soon as I saw the blue clutch bag, but it was a little expensive for me, this is why I decided to make it myself! Here is how you do it!

You need:
- Suede, 0.5 meter
- Lining fabric, 0.5 meter
- Gold chain, 1.5 meter
- Magnetic closure
- Leather hole punch & eyelet pliers kit
- Fabric glue
- Pins
- Scissors
- Sewing machine

First thing you need to do is think about the measurements, what size do you want your bag to be? I choose 29 by 39 cm. Don't forget seam allowance when you cut the fabric. You need this part two times.

This part has to be 82 cm by 10 cm. Same here, don't forget seam allowance.

Take the two parts and pin them together like you see in the picture.

Sew these parts together

Take the other part and pin it.

When you are finished sewing the other part, it will look like this. This will be the outside of the bag.

Do the exact same thing for the lining.

Almost finished.. Put the lining in the bag.

Take the magnetic closure and attach it to the bag.

With the fabric glue you have to glue the seam allowance. Also glue the lining and the outside together.

Take the leather hole punch & eyelet pliers kit, you need this to connect the chain to the bag. The eyelets will provide the fabric from tearing.

Make a hole in the fabric.

Connect the eyelet.

And next connect the chain to the eyelet.

After the first chain is connected. You can decide whether you want a second chain or not, I chose to use two chains.

The bag is wearable in different ways. I like all of them and am absolutely in love with it!! Used it almost every day since I made it and got so much positive comments.

DIY Vluxury: Black pencil skirt

For a long time already I am obsessed with pencil skirts. Earlier I already posted some inspiration. They are so feminine and you can combine them with almost everything; crop tops, bra tops, blouses and shirts. In two words: love them! This is why I did a do it yourself project with some left over black fabric and made my own pencil skirt.

You need:
- Fabric
- Zipper
- Scissors
- Sewing machine

Take a skirt that fits you right and put it on your fabric.

Cut the fabric around the skirt, I made it a bit longer, because I wanted it to be a pencil skirt. I always take a lot of extra fabric, so I am sure the skirt will fit me.

Now pin the skirt how you would like it to be and try it on, to make sure the skirt fits you.

Sew the parts together.

Now you have to make the seam on the upper side and the bottom of the skirt.

After you have to take the zipper and pin it on one side of the skirt. Sew the zipper on the fabric and you are already finished.

A black pencil skirt is basic, but it is a must for in your closet. It is a very easy DIY project, so I am sure I am going to make more of them in printed fabrics. I think they are so cute!!

DIY Vluxury: Leather passport cover (no sewing)

I am addicted to fashion and this is why I want to do everything in style. This also includes travelling. A few months ago I posted inspiration for a passport cover and I finally got time to do this do it yourself project.

You need:
- Your passport
- (Faux) leather
- Fabric glue
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil

Take your fabric and cut it like you see here. I took 4 cm for the sides.

Glue the sides.

Finished! Really easy DIY project, but also really cute.

Last thing you have to do is put your passport in the cover and take it with you the next time you are going to travel. Have fun!
